Tempered Glass

Toughened or tempered glass is a type of safety glass produced by thermal treatments. Toughing the glass causes it to crumble into small chunks instead of jagged shards which are far less likely to cause injury. As a result, it is used in a variety of applications including doors, shower screens, table tops, pool fencing and balustrading.
